Q&A

Q. What led you to specialize in Business Management Services?
Accounting in general interested me because I wanted to learn about the financial side, about what makes businesses tick, and become a valuable advisor. I went into business management because I appreciate working with clients one-on-one and having a direct impact on their individual success. I’m able to help them achieve their personal financial goals.
Q. What is the toughest decision you have ever made?
Merging my own business management firm into RBZ, which I did a few years before RBZ merged with Armanino. It was the right decision and created new opportunities for my clients, but it wasn’t easy.
Q. What keeps you up at night?
Our job is to organize our clients’ financial lives so that everything is taken care of and they can sleep well at night, which makes me sleep well at night.
Q. Describe your work style.
Very hands-on and involved in the process. I take the time to educate my staff and my clients to the fullest extent, and I’m very committed to providing the best possible level of service.
Q. What’s your proudest moment?

Raising my family, and establishing and running my own successful firm.

Q. Who is (or was) the most influential person in your life
My parents. They showed me a great example of how to live. They gave me a moral compass and taught me to treat everyone with respect and dignity.
Q. If you could pass on a nugget of wisdom to aspiring accountants or consultants, what would that be?
Always serve your clients with the highest level of commitment and diligence.
