Experience
Armanino pays special attention to keeping ahead of the trends and changes in our industry, which I think is integral to the success of public accounting firms. Knowing that Armanino is very tech-forward and on top of industry issues and trying to solve those problems was very appealing to me. The use of bots to leverage human capital was fascinating to me because this helps move everybody ahead.
One of the most rewarding parts of my job is facilitating clients’ philanthropic goals. Whether it’s setting up a donor advised fund, structuring gifts in the most tax efficient manner or creating foundations for clients, I love helping clients support the charities they care about.
I communicate expectations while remaining realistic about what I need from my staff. Helping them prioritize, setting high standards and keeping each other in the loop is a huge part of our success as a team.
Making partner at 28. I got promoted about six months before both of my parents passed away, and I was glad they were both alive and able to know that I had accomplished that. They were always so supportive and had so much belief in me, that it meant a lot to make partner while they were still around.
The people that I work with and our team’s camaraderie. When you work hard together, there’s a special bond that keeps things fun and helps you do your best.
