Mobility is having a big impact across the world, and I believe it will continue. It’s a versatile lifestyle, but it comes with its own set of challenges and tax complexities. In the past couple of years, I’ve been educating clients on the nuances of mobility and coming up with practical approaches to navigate technicalities.
I’d love to see more consistency for individual taxation across our 50 states. Currently, each state has its own approach on how it taxes individuals, which can be administratively burdensome, and, in some cases, lead to double taxation — I’d like to see some of that go away and for those types of issues to be resolved.
Professionally, being offered the opportunity to work with one of the most respected and talented tax professionals in the industry. We had worked together twice in the past, and being given the opportunity to be part of his team and to collaborate with him for a third time was a proud moment.

Inspiring curiosity and a desire to learn, both with my team and my clients. I always try to find those teachable moments and opportunities to share knowledge. But what gives me the most satisfaction is when I see people absorb the information that I’m sharing with them and then come back to me with more questions and more curiosity. That’s when I know I’ve sparked an interest in learning.
