Mike is a licensed CPA and veteran corporate tax professional with expertise serving public companies as well as owner-managed companies, Mike helps translate complex tax issues, communicating guidance to C-suite leaders and boards of directors to inform financially sound decision-making. Mike is a go-to advisor who helps take companies public, execute mergers and acquisitions and run the day-to-day tax function.
He provides guidance on tax accounting, consulting and compliance to public, owner-managed, private equity portfolio and venture capital companies primarily in the aerospace & defense, technology and manufacturing industries. Clients turn to Mike for his deep knowledge of tax provision (ASC740), managing tax reporting for SEC financial statements and tax efficiencies.
In addition to previous experience in public accounting, including at a Big Four firm, Mike has run tax departments for multinational SEC/public companies, forming successful internal partnerships with all departments that help the company optimize its tax position.
