Bio
Megan builds strong working relationships with clients by maintaining direct involvement with client engagements and working with them year-round to provide additional value. With a passion for serving nonprofit organizations, she specializes in providing consulting and assurance services to nonprofits of diverse missions and structures. She regularly engages with the community through speaking engagements to provide guidance on financial and governance topics for nonprofit organizations and related benefit plans.
She has developed an extensive base of experience during her 18 years in public accounting, including deep nonprofit experience that include arts and cultural, social service organizations, healthcare and FQHC organizations, churches and religious institutions, CDFls, foundations, associations and membership organizations, private schools and more. Among her current initiatives is to build this practice for Armanino in the Dallas-Fort Worth region.
Megan is a licensed CPA and received her bachelor's degree and master's degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is actively serving in the community through board service with several organizations, is an advocate for the accounting profession through her engagement in the TXCPA, and is a member of First Baptist Church of Benbrook.
