Every time someone mentioned Armanino, it was followed by a compliment of the positive culture or the innovation and growth. The employees I knew before joining spoke highly of what the firm was doing and what the future looked like — that’s when I knew I wanted to be a part of it all.
Early in my career, I left college for a short time to follow in my grandfather’s footsteps and worked as a railroad conductor. I quickly realized my destiny wasn’t going to be the same as his, but was overwhelmed by the thought that I was letting him down by following my own path. I now know that I made the right decision and my grandpa is still just as proud.
I worked closely with a private equity company, and we did multiple portfolios together. We bonded through this process and the relationship began to feel more like a partnership. I appreciated their proactiveness and they felt they could trust us to do what was best for their company.
I’m a teacher, and helping grow others is what keeps me motivated and provides me with a lot of satisfaction. I work closely with staff, acting as a sounding board, so they can come to answers on their own. Allowing them to work through a problem while knowing they can come to me for help is a growth opportunity that I never mind providing.
No one is as encouraging and supportive as my wife. She provides an outside perspective and encourages me to always follow my passion.
