Q&A

Q. What was it that drew you to Armanino?

The quality and depth of people. We have so many great minds and these minds are essentially internal resources that we’re able to use to better serve our clients.

Q. What is the toughest decision you have ever made?

I moved from India to the United States because this is where my husband is from. I had to leave my family and friends and completely start over and learn an entirely new culture. As a consequence, I was treated differently but overcame those hurdles and have built a wonderful life here.

Q. Without naming names, tell us about your favorite client and why you enjoyed working with them.

I work with a lot of high net worth individuals and the ones I enjoy the most are very grateful for what they have, passionate about helping others and their communities and take their means to make the world a better place.

Q. What’s your proudest moment?

Professionally, becoming partner because I came into this profession from India and proved to myself that I could achieve my ultimate goal despite the adversity I faced. Personally, it’s when I see my children making a difference in people’s lives. Both of my children are pursuing careers in the medical field because they are so passionate about helping others.

Q. If you could pass on a nugget of wisdom to aspiring accountants or consultants, what would that be?

In order to succeed, you have to be passionate about what you do.

Q. What do you love most about your work?

My clients and the challenges they bring to the table. They make my work interesting, and I know my solutions can help improve their lives.
