Kim is a recognized leader in tax practice and procedure with experience in domestic and international tax issues. She has an extensive record of partnering with clients to successfully navigate and resolve tax authority disputes, balance client resources, and achieve effective and efficient outcomes.
Her practice is focused on audit representation and dispute resolution of federal and state tax authority matters. She has decades of private and governmental (IRS) experience helping businesses, partnerships, and individuals navigate tax authority audits, penalties, appeals, litigation and collection.
Before joining Armanino, Kim worked at Deloitte Tax LLP, where she served a diverse client base in a variety of tax authority matters, including tax controversies for multinational technology enterprises and the defense of high-net-worth individuals and their businesses. Before joining Deloitte, Kim was a trial lawyer and deputy/associate area counsel at the IRS, Office of Chief Counsel, where she was responsible for significant tax litigation related to technology and tax shelters.
