Bio
Joanne began her public accounting career in 1988 as an audit associate at the Philadelphia office of KPMG Peat Marwick. She provides tax planning, tax compliance and business consulting to a broad base of clients, including partnerships, S corporations, high-net-worth individuals and trusts. She has worked extensively in the areas of real estate development, software, manufacturing and international transactions and tax planning for both individuals and closely held businesses. Joanne also has experience consulting with businesses regarding their state and local income and sales tax exposure to ensure they are compliant with their required filings and assisting them to mitigate their overall state and local tax exposure.
From 2000 to 2006, Joanne was with Drucker & Scaccetti, P.C. and worked for another national accounting firm from 2007 to 2012. At that firm, her clients included venture capital funds, real estate investment partnerships and a large manufacturing concern. She returned to Drucker & Scaccetti, P.C. and in 2022 joined Armanino.
Joanne holds a B.S. in economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Taxation from the Villanova Law School Graduate Tax Program. She is a licensed CPA and member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and serves on the board of the Nelly Berman School of Music.
Joanne resides in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania with her husband, Horatio, who practices interventional radiology in Maryland. They have two grown daughters. Joanne enjoys classical music, exercise, ballet, traveling, skiing and food.
