Joanne is a director in Armanino’s Tax practice and has more than 23 years of public accounting experience. She works closely with clients in the heavily regulated insurance and banking industries, serving property and casualty and life insurance carriers as well as captive insurance clients.
Joanne is responsible for reviewing federal income tax provisions for insurance companies, including complex deferred tax calculations for both statutory accounting and GAAP purposes. She also reviews federal and state income tax returns, premium tax returns and regularly provides tax consulting services including research and federal and state income tax planning projects. Joanne represents clients before the Internal Revenue Services and state and local authorities.
