Q&A

Q. Without naming names, tell us about your favorite client and why you enjoyed working with them.
I find myself to be particularly lucky because I really do love all my clients. One I think about in particular is a nonprofit organization that has been forward-thinking, making investments into their people and technology. It’s allowed for growth and more efficient operations. Our nonprofit team has been able to assist with these projects and it’s been really fun to see the success the organization has achieved through its vision and innovation. And the best part is that all this investment is going back into the community through the client’s programs and initiatives. That’s one of the things I love most about working with nonprofit organizations — getting to see firsthand the impact on the communities they serve.
Q. What’s your proudest moment?
Personally, I was very proud when I was able to achieve certain fitness goals that I set for myself. It’s really easy to be “too busy” to make time for the things you want to do. I was focused, made it a priority, and ultimately succeeded at putting my health first. At the end of the day, your health is the most important thing you have.
Q. If you could pass on a nugget of wisdom to aspiring accountants or consultants, what would that be?
Learn about different industries and find what inspires you. The earlier you do this in your career, the happier you’ll be.
Q. What do you love most about your work?
The people I get to work with; both my clients and my Armanino family. Growing up in a family of seven, it is only natural that I love being around people. Getting to show up to work every day to help my clients and team members achieve their goals, and all the while getting to learn from the wickedly smart individuals that are sharing their knowledge and perspective with me, has me coming back for more. I love what I do because I love the people I work with.
