Bio
Charles has more than 30 years of public accounting experience providing tax services for individuals and business entities. Since retiring from full-time practice in 2010, he has continued to consult with clients in his role as Of Counsel advisor.
His areas of expertise include trust and estate planning, real estate, multi-state and international taxation, nonprofit organizations and all types of business entities, from corporations to sole proprietorships. He has extensive experience helping individuals align personal tax strategies and charitable goals, and transfer wealth. On the business side, he has deep experience with corporate tax strategies, tax-favorable entities, mergers and acquisitions, and tax-exempt structures for nonprofit organizations.
Charles has served on the Board of Governors of the Los Angeles Stage Alliance. He is licensed CPA and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants and the California Bar Association. He graduated cum laude with a B.A. in English from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and received his J.D. from the UCLA School of Law.
