Making a positive impact on our people, clients and communities is a cornerstone of who we are and what we stand for at Armanino. Our positive energy and innovative approach made some amazing things happen in 2022.
Let’s take a look at a few of the many ways we came together to spark success and uncover possibilities over the past year.
As our clients grew, so did we. Throughout the year, we welcomed many new faces who help clients with their most challenging issues today and plan for a stronger tomorrow. We seized opportunities to connect, from on-site client work to volunteer opportunities with the Armanino Foundation.
In January, we combined with Austin-based Holtzman Partners, boosting our ranks in the Lone Star State. Mid-year, we rang in a new union as we combined with Drucker & Scaccetti, adding deep tax expertise as well as an expanded footprint to include offices in Philadelphia and Scranton, offering East Coast clients expanded on-the-ground access to our teams. On the industry side, we added Manufacturing to our roster of core industries, reflecting the growth of our sector-specific expertise and knowledge in this area.
We’ve long been focused on DEI and helping women advance their careers at all levels. In 2022, we walked the walk and celebrated the promotion of 24 team members to partner, with women making up 54% of our new partner class. We also introduced the most diverse management team in our history, a group that surpassed the industry average percentage of women in management positions.
We’ve often been asked about how we’ve developed a unique, entrepreneurial culture. The publication of our book, Empowered, provided an inside look into our growth trajectory and success.
While our top priority is our clients’ success, being honored for our efforts to help clients uncover new opportunities and build roadmaps to their future success is icing on the cake. Here are just a few of the many awards we received this past year:
On the local level, we stood out in local business communities, receiving honors such as the Los Angeles Business Journal’s “Most Innovative Firm of the Year” and being one of 24 companies recognized by the Women’s Foundation of Greater St. Louis for commitment to advancing women in the workplace.
We showed the world what makes us unique in terms of what we deliver. Armanino Access, our new client experience app, rolled out to a group of MVP clients, an exciting step in how we’re reimagining the digital client experience and building a tool based entirely on what our clients need and want from a provider. Armanino Intelligence showed how our unique approach to innovation sets us apart and allows us to combine data and technology in meaningful ways.
The Great Give was our most impactful yet, with a return to a fully in-person event that allowed us to resume hands-on volunteer work and create lasting connections with each other. Our impact through the Armanino Foundation continues to reach communities throughout the country, growing as our footprint has expanded from coast to coast.
In December 2022, the Armanino Foundation awarded five nonprofit organizations $10,000 in grants that will provide an immediate boost to helping them fulfill their missions. Last year, we hosted Volunteer Vacations in Oregon, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, Montana, Florida, California, Washington, D.C. and Vietnam, bringing the power of Armanino to numerous people and organizations.
All these accomplishments, and many others not listed here, aren’t possible without every single one of our team members. From the big ideas they implement to the transformative impact they’ve had on entire industries, we recognize the contributions of our courageous, community-minded team that brings possibilities to life to help our clients go further, faster.
There’s much to be thankful for and proud of, and we’ve already kicked off 2023 with great news about being named one of Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work! We hope you’re excited about great things to come as we forge our future together in 2023!
